Here are a few cool videos we have recently viewed in the classroom. I found these on Schooltube.
The kids did some great inferring after watching this. I asked them if they thought Rosie knew the fox was there. There were some different ideas about this, and a good "beyond the text" discussion took place.
The kids wrote some great pieces the day we watched this video. They imagined what Rosie would say to the fox if she could talk. Look for these to be on display outside the classroom soon.
Vowel sounds are usually the trickiest letter sounds for kids to master. Here is a Schooltube video that can help with that. Warning: This tune will probably get stuck in your head for a while. My apologies!
